Sales & Customer Service Representative — Forklifts

About the role

An established forklift supplier in Naval Base is looking for a motivated sales and customer service person to help grow its customer base.

The role alternates between the office and the road. One day you will be in the office calling potential customers and building a pipeline; the next you will be out in a company vehicle visiting businesses to qualify and secure leads.

Qualified leads are handed to the Sales Manager to close, so you will have strong support and a clear, focused role within the sales team.

What you will do

• Make outbound calls to potential customers and book visits
• Visit businesses in the field to build relationships and secure leads
• Keep accurate records of contacts, calls and follow-ups
• Hand qualified leads to the Sales Manager and support the sale through
• Look after customer enquiries and service

About you

• Confident on the phone and face to face
• Organised, with good follow-up and record keeping
• Current driver’s licence
• Sales, customer service or materials handling experience an advantage
• Visa holders welcome to apply
